The Association Client Wins National Award PYME

BREAKING NEWS: Montecristi.- Ms. Elena Mercedes Peralta Client The National Association belonging to the branch of Mao was a winner of SME award program, earning second place in the category Personal Uni with a cash amount of RD $ 50,000.00, while the officer won winner of RD $ 6,000.00.

The awards for micro SME is carried out through a Program of Awards to prominent businessmen and Microenterprise, with support from the following institutions: CITI, Adopem and Action.

The award ceremony was held on November the 17^th 2009, at the Salon Alcazar Hotel Santo Domingo.

The repaving works start

Of the streets of Montecristi

BREAKING NEWS: Montecristi.- The Government initiated through the Department of Public Works in this county reconstruction work and repaving of the streets.
The work is assigned to the Northern Asphalt Construction, headed by engineer Welinton Duarte.

Equipment, machinery and technical personnel perform their work in the San Fernando street, which gives access to the beach John Bolanos.
They are also working on the avenues Pimentel, Pedro Pablo Fernández, among other avenues of the city of Montecristi.

Governor Alejandro Toribio said that provided approximately 25 km unpaved streets and roads repaved in the town of Montecristi, in the entire province will invest 500 million pesos.
