To prevent gender violenceBREAKING NEWS: Montecristi.- The procurator in Montecristi, Dr. Clara Jacqueline Zapata Santos, revealed that due to increasing complaints from women victims of attempted assault and psychological disturbances by their partners, in that jurisdiction have been set up protection mechanisms to curb this situation, often leading to severe physical assault and that may end up with murder. He said that 50% of cases received by the prosecutor, as a dependency of the Attorney General of the Republic, it is for domestic violence, threat with 30% and the rest is linked to the robbery.
Among the main efforts of the Attorney General of the Republic, Dr. Radhames Jimenez Pena, to protect the rights of women, established the Deputy Attorney General for Women’s Affairs, as well as 13 units of care to victims of gender violence, domesticand sex crimes. 13 hotels and 9 luxury casinosBREAKING NEWS: Montecristi.- Israeli investors plan to build a luxury resort project worth around U.S. $ 5,000 million in Monte Cristi, said Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier Garcia. The complex will have 13 hotels and nine luxury casinos, and is expected to stimulate the region.
